What is Physical Science?

The first half of the course will focus on science skills and the basics of Physics, including motion, energy, electricity, and waves. In the remainder of the year, we will look at properties of matter and elements, and chemical reactions - all the basics of Chemistry.

Department Grading Policy: 

Total Points

Tests and projects will generally be worth 100 points.

Quizzes, labs, and smaller activities will be worth 10-50 points, depending on depth of content/skills.

Reassessments will be offered.
