Honors Math 3 IN GENERAL:

          This mathematics course is a high school honors math class which meets one of your required math credits for graduation.  Students should have mastered Math 1 and Honors Math 2 with at least an 88 average to be successful (A or B) in this course.  In this course we will solve and graph systems; evaluate and graph piecewise functions; solve and graph absolute value equations and inequalities; simplify and graph polynomial functions; simplify, solve and graph rational functions; solve and graph exponential functions; solve and graph logarithmic functions; find exact values and graph trigonometric functions; identify geometric relationships with polygons and circles; and use statistics to make inferences about data. Each student will not only learn mathematics but they will also learn how to think critically and solve problems.
