FQ: How does Ohm's law relate current to voltage and resistance?
1. Read: Resistance
2.
Ohm's Law Simulation (If absent, watch this video)
When an electrical potential exists in a circuit, a current may flow. Current is the flow of electrons in a circuit. Resistance in the circuit slows the flow of the electrons, reducing the current in the circuit.
In this formula:
V is Voltage, measured in Volts (V).
I is Current, measured in Amperes (A).
R is Resistance, measured in Ohms (Ω).
