Personal Introduction through Wordle Assignment

The purpose of this assignment is for me to get to know you in a way that is different from what I might observe in the classroom as your teacher. You will need to come up with at least 15 different words that describe you best (one of these words must be your first name).  You will then visit www.wordle.net to create your own word cloud (or some other word cloud generator).

To create the word cloud (using Wordle) you will need to type your words (separated only by a space) into the "Paste in a bunch of text" window. You can make a word bigger in the word cloud by repeating it several times. For example, I wanted my first name to be the largest word, so I repeated it 6 times and all the other words were repeated anywhere from 1-4 times. Then select GO and the website will create a word cloud. You can edit it by changing colors, fonts, and layouts. Have fun with it and experiment!

Once you've created the word cloud that you are happy with, do a screenshot of the page or use the Snipping Tool on your computer to take a picture of the word cloud and paste it into a Word document. Write a 2-3 paragraph (typed) description of the three to four most important words to you in the word cloud and what you meant by them (or why they are meaningful to you) to class.
