Objectives

These objectives describe content students will learn and should understand by the end of the class period.

Chm.1.2.1 Compare (qualitatively) the relative strengths of ionic, covalent, and metallic bonds.
Chm.1.2.2 Infer the type of bond and chemical formula formed between atoms.
Chm.1.2.4 Interpret the name and formula of compounds using IUPAC convention.

Synchronous activities are done during the first 45 minutes of class and this time is usually spent reviewing the notes taken the night before and introducing the practice/lab work for the asynchronous time.

Asynchronous Activities

Asynchronous activities are done during the final 45 minutes of class and this time is usually spent working through practice or lab work and taking the notes for the following day. Mrs. Praski will alternate between answering questions for the In-Class and Virtual Students.
