Most Daily/ Weekly assignments will be due the next day or by 9pm of Sunday each week.

Listed below will be our Daily Agenda Activities for our "class days" of Monday - Friday. We will have a Live Google Meet on Monday - Friday morning. You may work ahead on the Homework Tasks. Please save your questions for the end of our live Remote Learning Sessions and/or for the Tuesday - Thursday Afternoon Office Time (2:00pm - 2:30pm). If you miss the live sessions, please go through each Daily Agenda of links & Bring your questions to Tuesday - Thursday's Office Time. Make sure you COMPLETE all of the assignments each week to obtain your weekly grade(s).

Solving Equations
Objectives

NC.M2.A-REI.1, 2, & 4

Students will be able to use techniques to solve different types of equations:

Justify a chosen solution method and each step of the solving process for quadratic, square root and binomial square equations
using mathematical reasoning.
Solve and interpret one variable square root equations arising from a context, and explain how extraneous
solutions may be produced.
Solve for all solutions of quadratic equations in one variable.
a. Understand the quadratic formula.
b. Explain when quadratic equations will have non-real solutions and express complex solutions as 𝑎 ± 𝑏𝑖 for real numbers
𝑎 and 𝑏.

Announcement:

During the Holiday Break that starts on December 19th, any student who is NOT Passing the class can work on the assignments that are in GradPoint. Your scores from the Gradpoint Assignments will be used to replace/improve some of your Zero Grades in PowerSchool.

If you are currently passing the class with a grade that is above a 60, any of the Gradpoint Assignments that you do can be used to gain some additional points to some of your grades in PowerSchool.

The GradPoint Assignments are due by January 6, 2021 by 4 pm!!!
