Unit 1 - Introduction to Geometry: Vocabulary & Drawings

Most Daily/ Weekly assignments will be due the next day or by 9pm of Sunday each week.

Listed below will be our Daily Agenda Activities for our "class days" of Monday - Friday. We will have a Live Google Meet on Monday - Friday morning. You may work ahead on the Homework Tasks. Please save your questions for the end of our live Remote Learning Sessions and/or for the Tuesday - Thursday Afternoon Office Time (2:00pm - 2:30pm). If you miss the live sessions, please go through each Daily Agenda of links & Bring your questions to Tuesday - Thursday's Office Time. Make sure you COMPLETE all of the assignments each week to obtain your weekly grade(s).

1. Khan Academy Links - Use the following link to sign-up for our Khan Academy Class --> Sign-up Link
Once you sign-up, click on "Assignments" and then click on each of items listed and work the problems - Do Your Best! Do All 8 of the Assignments in Khan Academy.

2.Desmos Activity - Click the Link --> 1st Period (This is the Cat and Bow Tie Activity)

3.Quizlet Matching Activity (Work out each problem, click on the answer, and drag the answer on top of the problem.
If you are correct, the problem and the answer will "disappear" from the screen. Work out each problem, until you have cleared the screen.)

4.Flip Grid - Watch the Flipgrid Overview and the Student Flipgrid Intro Clip at the lower Right - hand side of the page.
Create a All About Me due by Sept 6th 9pm.
(In order to Join Flipgrid, you must use WCPSS email "Google" sign-in.)

Make sure you use "@students.wcpss.net and not just wcpss.net.
Make sure to use the "sign in with google" option and use your school google.

5.Complete the Detailed Information Survey (This is a long survey where you will fill - in your home and school information.)
6. Read the document in this link on Linking Google Doc to Canvas .

Next, you will need to click on this link -->"Symbol Selection" & follow the direction from the article in line 7 - above to submit Your Google Doc about your Symbol Selection into Canvas.

7. Watch the video, write down into your Notebook the example problems and work that are in the video---> Review # 2.

8. Success Survey - Watch "5 Tips For Success in Virtual Learning " and put your results Link for the Success video.
