Mr. Jonathan Greene | jsgreene@wcpss.net | 919.773.3838

Welcome to Technology, Engineering, and Design! The TED curriculum will be broadly speaking about technology and how engineers modify the natural world to suit their own purposes. From the Greek word techne, meaning art/artifice/craft, technology literally means the act of making, but more generally it refers to the diverse collection of processes and knowledge that people use to extend human abilities in order to satisfy needs and wants. The students will learn about theory and gain hands-on experience problem solving as engineers by designing, building, troubleshooting, and working with a variety of materials. Additionally, many of the topics and skills can be applied universally.
